On our 14-day ‘Laos and Cambodia Experience’ you will glimpse the Asia of old – majestic history, ancient Buddhist culture, and a way of life that’s barely changed in centuries. We begin in Chiang Rai. From here we venture into Laos, travelling by slow boat along the Mekong River to Luang Prabang, one of Asia’s most magical destinations. Fly to the quiet Laotian capital of Vientiane and on to the graceful tree-lined boulevards and stunning royal relics of Phnom Penh. Your journey ends in Siem Reap, our base for visits to the magnificent temples of Angkor, including Angkor Wat itself, the world’s largest religious monument.
