DAYS 1-3: SAIGON & MEKONG DELTA
On arrival in Saigon, transfer to your hotel to meet the small group of travellers you will share this adventure with during a tour briefing and welcome drinks. Vibrant Saigon bursts with energy as you walk amongst the boisterous crowds along historic Dong Khoi Street, the former Rue Catinat. Uncover fascinating history at the Reunification Palace and War Remnants Museum. The resilience of the Vietnamese people is unveiled at the amazing Cu Chi tunnels. Slow down as you wind along the peaceful canals and shady lanes of the Mekong Delta.

DAYS 4-6: HUE & HOI AN
A morning flight touches down in the ancient city of Hue. Discover the historic Citadel and the iconic Thien Mu Pagoda and meet the inspirational deaf and mute workers at the Spiral Foundation. A drive along the coast leads to the World Heritage listed town of Hoi An. The delights of this charming town are found in walking the streets of this well-preserved trading port and visiting traditional houses and temples, and the iconic Japanese Bridge.

DAYS 7-9: HALONG BAY & HANOI
Fly to Hanoi where a short drive brings you to magical Halong Bay. Feast on sumptuous fresh seafood as you cruise amongst the thousands of limestone islands. Back in Hanoi, a traditional water puppet performance awaits. Learn all about the life and legend of ‘Uncle Ho’ on a trip to his former home and mausoleum. The ancient Temple of Literature affords quiet contemplation before a visit to the infamous ‘Hanoi Hilton’ prison.

DAYS 10-11: VIENTIANE
Fly to the delightful Lao capital, Vientiane. After delving into the city’s most famous landmarks, Wat Pha That Luang and Wat Sisaket, visit the COPE centre to learn about the work they are doing in the community to assist UXO victims, and then visit an engaging silk weaving centre. A traditional Baci ceremony in a local home welcomes you to this tantalizing land.

DAYS 12-15: LUANG PRABANG
Just a short flight away is the fabled riverside town of Luang Prabang. Gain an authentic insight into Buddhist culture by chatting with local monks and then chip in at a fun Lao cooking class. A boat trip takes you to the Pak Ou Caves, where hundreds of Buddha effigies are placed within a sacred cave. Rise early to witness local monks collecting alms at dawn, and be enchanted by Asiatic Black Bears frolicking in their jungle playground at a bear sanctuary near Kuang Si Falls. Take time out to play a game of petanque with the locals. On your last day, enjoy free time until your departure transfer.
