DAYS 1-3: SAIGON & MEKONG DELTA
On arrival in Saigon, transfer to your hotel, in time for welcome drinks with the small group of new friends who will share this incredible journey. Stroll amongst the excitement of Saigon along Dong Khoi Street, the former Rue Catinat and uncover the historic Reunification Palace and War Remnants Museum. The amazing Cu Chi tunnels will highlight the resilience of the Vietnamese people, and then unwind as you meander along the canals and shady lanes of the Mekong Delta.

DAYS 5-6: NHA TRANG
Travel through the rustic villages and tea plantations of the Central Highlands, before descending to the coastal plains, passing remnants of the ancient Champa kingdom and arriving in Nha Trang in time to watch the sun slowly dip below the horizon over a few drinks. Relax on an island boat cruise and indulge in a sumptuous seafood feast and swim in the sparkling East Sea.

A short flight brings you to the former French hill station of Dalat, a fascinating town of winding streets, colourful markets and abandoned French villas. Enjoy the cool mountain air and rural vistas on a cable car ride, and admire the faded Art Deco charm of the last emperor'''s summer residence.

Fly to Danang in Central Vietnam and visit the city's famous Cham Museum before reaching Hoi An. Abundant in history, wander the traditional houses and temples and the iconic Japanese Bridge of this charming town. Enjoy some free time in Hoi An for shopping or discover the regions delectable cuisine with a fun cooking class.

DAY 9: HUE
Pass spectacular coastal scenery on your way to Hue. A laid-back modern city, the historic sites include the Citadel and elaborate emperors' tombs which reveal a complex and intriguing past.

Meet the deaf and mute workers at the Spiral Foundation in Hue and learn some local crafts before your flight to Hanoi in time for an evening water puppets performance. Enjoy the picturesque drive to Halong Bay for an overnight cruise amongst thousands of magical islands. Return to Hanoi and learn all about 'Uncle Ho' at his former home and mausoleum.
