DAYS 1-3 - BANGKOK
On arrival in Bangkok, transfer to your hotel. Take a traditional longtail boat to start your walking, cruising and tuk-tuk tour through the bustling streets of Bangkok, stopping at the glittering Grand Palace and serene Wat Po. Cycle across the river and enjoy a boat ride, before free time. You might choose to go to Siam Ocean World or Jim Thompson House.

DAYS 4-5 - RIVER KWAI
Drive to the beautiful River Kwai region, stopping at a fish market, then take a railway trip over the bridge and discover some of the rich and turbulent history of the region at Hellfire Pass and the Bridge over the River Kwai. Float down the river by boat to your accommodation, a floating hotel! In the morning, take a relaxing boat ride to discover shimmering waterfall and a cave, then visit a local village of the Mon people, with the opportunity to ride an elephant.

DAY 6 - AYUTHAYA
Ayutthaya is the former capital. Visit the million toy museum and explore impressive ruins, including the World Heritage listed Wat Phra Sri Sanphet and Wat Mahathat. Take a thrilling overnight train journey to Chiang Mai.

DAYS 7-10 - CHIANG MAI
Admire the stunning views from the hilltop Doi Suthep temple, one of the most sacred in all of Thailand, and see the city’s sights on a fun samlor tour. Delve into the local Lanna culture with visits to a local elephant training camp and orchid farm. At Lisu lodge, take an elephant trek through the forest, and board a thrilling bamboo raft for a trip down the river. On your last day enjoy free time until your departure transfer.
